Christian artists are invited to participate in a prophetic art workshop at Bay Community Church, Muizenberg, on Saturday (May 26) from 0:900 to 15:00.
The workshop, which will be addressed by evangelist/author Ashley Cloete and multimedia artist Leigh-Ann Pringle, will provide opportunities for creative worship, prophetic activation, networking and fellowship with artists. There will also be some remarkable testimonies of how God has used art to heal, deliver and save peoples and nations!
Ashley Cloete, author of the book Seeds Sown For Revival will speak briefly on the Castle of Good Hope where a prophetic art exhibition “The Resurrection” will take place from October 4 to 7.
Leigh-ann Pringle will lead a workshop on “Revelation development: tapping into the heart of God and putting your revelation/inspiration into art form”. She is a multimedia artist and art teacher who has led numerous prophetic art workshops. She is an experienced exhibition curator with a special interest in installation, animation and video. Artists are encouraged to bring whatever they have begun to work on to the workshop – whether it is an almost fully developed artwork or simply a concept written on paper.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Some eats will be available for sale to support the Scape Home, a YWAM ministry which rescues women out of human trafficking. Participants bring their own lunch.
Artists participating in the Resurrection Exhibition are required to register at the workshop. More information can be obtained from Catherine at 021 788 3805 or 072 767 1115.
