Prophetic conference speakers focus on reformation and transformation

Apostle Tony Kim, left and Prophetess Arleen Westerhof, centre, were guest speakers at the Company of Prophets SA (Copsa) Conference in Johannesburg from May 16 to 18. With them is Prophetes Janet Brann Hollis of (Copsa)

Reformation and transformation was the theme of messages by Apostle Tony Kim from the USA, and Prophetess Arleen Westerhof, from Holland, at the Company of Prophets SA Conference in Johannesburg from May 16 to 18.

The international speakers emphasised that the Gospel can no longer stay within the four walls of the church and that each believer has been mandated by God to carry this Gospel to his/her sphere of influence.

Arleen, who co-leads a church in Amsterdam and is founder and facilitator of the Netherlands Prophetic Council and executive director of the European Economic Summit, brought a message of healing the nation through healing the economy. God needs the wealth of the nation to be stewarded by the Church, she said.

Tony, who leads a global revival and reformation movement called Roar, spoke about discipling nations, focusing on the strategic role of the Church. He said Kingdom success must start with local church. A healthy, local body will effect the transformation of nations, and unlocking of cities according to the framework laid by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 — Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

He said God is a God of the society, and the voice of the Church is key as healthy societies start with healthy families who are aligned with local churches.
