Retired bishop shares insights in book on 200km prayer walk through Nelson Mandela Bay

Former Anglican Bishop Eric Pike has written a thought-provoking and insightful book about his experiences, the people he met and the sights that both saddened him and made him hopeful during the inaugural 200km Nehemiah Prayer Walk through all 60 wards of Nelson Mandela Bay (PE, Uitenhage and Despatch).

The book, Walking the Walk, is right up to date with the final chapter giving insight as to how the walk has brought churches in NMB together in the fight against hunger in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic, says Transformation Christian Network which is distributing the publication.

Despite the heartbreak and brokenness Bishop Pike encountered during his walk in November last year, an underlying message of hope runs through the book. It’s a message that we all can make a difference, no matter how small our contribution.
