The Gospel edition of the Magic Music Sessions due to be held on April 25 will feature Grammy Award-winning recording artist/songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
Concert promoters Vertex Events have assured that the singer will perform at this year’s Magic Music Sessions despite a recently cancelled tour by another concert promoter that was also billed to bring her to South Africa.
In a statement released by the artist to her SA fan base, she said that the other cancelled tour “in no way impacts my appearance at Magic Music Sessions,” thus confirming that Gospel lovers can look forward to enjoying her live performance at the Sun Arena at Time Square in Tshwane.
The Magic Music Sessions which celebrate five years of existence in 2020, focus on memorable experiences while taking the audience on a musical journey. The session is a showcase of seasoned artists performing alongside a live musical band. Music enthusiasts will not only be treated to a one of a kind intimate performance by Tasha Cobbs Leonard but can also expect to be taken on a soulful journey by the legendary Reverend Benjamin Dube, Dr Tumi, Soweto Gospel Choir, Mahalia Buchanan, Mohlapuli Brothers and Sethu live in action, say the promoters.
Tickets are available at Webtickets and Pick n Pay stores from R300.
