Bulelwa Mokori shares about “Shine 2022”, a time to share your Jesus testimony with TWR listeners and to support TWR’s Gospel outreach by radio throughout the African continent. Tune in to TWR Africa on November 22 to 24 to shine for Jesus!
When was the last time you were “Telling someone about Jesus”? This will be the theme of Shine 2022, happening in November – on air and online. And you are invited! Come along, be ready to share!
Have you shared about how you heard about Jesus? Over the last few months, we have been collecting stories from around the African continent about how TWR has played a role in “telling someone about Jesus”. We have been using the Your TWR Story campaign on social media, and have curated some of these stories to share with our TWR Africa listeners.
TWR’s global media ministry overcomes all kinds of barriers and goes into “all the world”. Our story of sharing the “real Good news of Jesus Christ: as per the vision and calling of our founder Paul Freed, “to reach the world for Christ by mass media so that lasting fruit is produced”, deserves the prayers, praise, and participation of all God’s people. And Shine 2022 is going to be such a time.
About Shine 2022
Join us from 22-24 November, 07:00 to 10:00, as we “shine the light on what God is doing in the lives of listeners and supporters around the world, and especially in Africa. A time to hear of new Kingdom opportunities for ministry and prayer. A time to celebrate the good and a time to pray for the not so good. A time of praising God for His love and the hope He has given us through the Love of Jesus (John 3:16),” (Anthony Barkhuizen, TWR Fund Development Director).
Tune in to Shine 2022 through TWR Africa’s broadcast platforms on DStv audio channel 855, or listen live on our web site. You can also connect with us through social media, ready to share your story, express your appreciation for Gospel broadcasting and pledge your financial support for TWR’s ministry.
Contact us via email at info@twrafrica.org or send us a SMS or WhatsApp to +27 72 641 4475.
Alternatively, you can call us on +27 11 974 2885, and speak with the presenters on-air. We are looking forward to hearing from you if you have been touched in some way by TWR’s ministry through the past decades. A Malawian listener said: “If all preachers were to preach and teach the Word of God the way some of these TWR preachers and teachers do, I am sure people out there would have known God and his might absolutely. Thank you, TWR, and may the Lord bless you for these wonderful teachings.”

Listener stories
Here are two stories that may resonate in your heart:
- “Hello. I don’t remember exactly when I started listening to TWR, but I know it has been over 10 years. Listening to TWR here in Tanzania, has been a blessing and I listen every day. I heard that I can also listen online, and I now do so when I arrive at my office, and enjoy the sermons and songs which impact my life greatly. I am truly blessed through TWR.”
- “Thank you for reaching people with the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ where it is touching the lives of people, including me. I was encouraged by what I heard on TWR, and I joined a local Bible College and am now in my third year of Bible studies. Thank you and may God bless you.”
Mark November 22 to 24 on your calendar and stay tuned to TWR Africa for more information!
