“Whenever I make music, and I have an experience with it. The music should be able to change me. So, making this music changed me, it took me from a place of wondering what is going on to a place of saying: ‘Lord I trust you, and I am going to sing praises to your name like never before. I am going to going to pour out my heart to you and trust that you know what is going on, that you have my future in your hands, because that is what you said.’” the Way Maker hit composer and singer stated, during a live Facebook broadcast yesterday.

Sinach explained that during the album recording “there was an atmosphere, a stirring of the presence of the Lord like never before”.

“We have different people that feature on this album. Each and everyone of them came with a unique thing. These are people that I admired, and still do admire, and will always admire,” she said. “When you minister with people who understand what it means to offer a sacrifice of worship, that is what it is.”

Sinach’s music is deemed among the most viewed content on YouTube from Africa, and Way Maker was listed #1 for more than 6 months as the most played Church song in USA by CCLI.

In October 2020, Sinach became the first Nigerian worship leader to win “Song of the Year” at the 51st edition of the Dove Awards ceremony in USA.

Her song Way Maker was covered by over 60 artists around the world, hitting #1 on Billboard for 12 consecutive weeks, making her the first black, woman and African to achieve this fest globally.

“When I do not understand a situation, what I would do, is to trust God, because when you are in the centre of His will, you do not need to bother about what happens, all you need to do, is to fix your eyes on the one who is leading you,” she encouraged her audience. “I fix my eyes in Him, all I do is worship Him, and to extol His greatness . When you worship Him, His presence and lordship become magnified.”
