An outpouring of God’s Spirit in a church in Wales has entered its 12th week with reports of salvations, healings and dramatically impacted lives at special nightly meetings.
The so-called Welsh outpouring has attracted visitors from all over the world to Victory Church in Cwmbran, says Pastor Richard Taylor in a youtube clip. And the outpouring is spreading all over the nation says a post made on the church’s Facebook page today. According to the post healings have broken out in Manchester after a leadership team came and “took the presence back with them”.
Taylor says his church is just facilitating what God is doing and that all the glory is due to Jesus. He says other churches are helping to facilitate the outpouring and to share it with the world through live streaming and social media.
According to the Victory Church website God sovereignly poured out His Spirit in a powerful way at the church on April 10 and Taylor decided to continue with the meetings until God said otherwise after hearing the Lord speak to his heart: “If my people show up, I’ll show up’.
Taylor says the outpouring is essentially about God reaching out to and rescuing the lost and the broken. He says that in addition to hundreds of healings, there have been large numbers of salvations and baptisms, marriages have been restored, leaders have been refreshed and empowered, and many people say they have never felt so close to Jesus.
In a recent miracle he says an ex-prostitute who was saved at the meeting reported that a tattoo vanished off her body during the service.
“I often say there are two qualities God is looking for for a move of His Spirit: they are humility and hunger. I believe they are key ingredients of what is happening here,” he says.
I am moved to hear a story like this. It is encouraging to be reminded of the power ofThe Holy Spirit
Praise the Lord. We’re waiting in S.A. Let it rain.
