Pastors, prayer leaders, Jewish leaders gather in Katlehong to pray in solidarity with Israel

The South African Friends of Israel (SAFI), together with the South African Prayer Network are hosting a Solidarity Prayer for Israel at City of Mercy Church, Katlehong, Johannesburg from 10am to 12pm today.

According to a SAFI media alert, Apostle Dickson Monaheng of Leshoth will address an expected audience of over 600 people who will come together to pray for peace in Israel, as well as pledge their support for the Jewish State.

“Members of the media are invited to attend to report on South African citizenry views that differ strongly to those shared by Minister of International Relations & Cooperation, Naledi Pandor. A large number of South Africans have unequivocally condemned Hamas’ unprovoked attack on Israel and support the Holy Land’s right to defend itself and the 199 civilians that remain captive by Hamas forces today,” says the alert.

ItI says media will have an opportunity to engage with SAFI directly, as well as interview a number of large community church leaders from across the country and Lesotho., as well as Israeli and Jewish dignitaries.
