The internet has been a boon for many things, but one of the most impactful has been its ability to connect people of faith from all over the world. Christian communities in Southern Africa have been some of the biggest beneficiaries of this, and one Christian brand that is seeing exponential growth in this is Verse4ward.
Who are Verse4ward?
Verse4ward is a Christian hub, on Instagram, that is based in Southern Africa. It was founded in 2016 and is dedicated to providing Christian “Daily Bible Verses” and “Daily Quotes” meant to encourage new and existing Christians. The goal of Verse4ward is to bring people closer to God through their daily content.
In 2020, the founder of Verse4ward had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. This encounter cemented the idea to use Verse4ward as a hub for connecting Christians from all over South Africa and the world. Part of the encounter involved Jesus carrying a lantern and asking us to follow Him.
The following verse rang true, said the founder: “This will fulfill what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have destined you to become a beacon light for the nations and release salvation to the ends of the earth!’ — Acts 13:47 TPT ”

“With the power of technology, we can connect believers from across the globe and create a community of faith that spans borders. We believe that by coming together as one Bride (the Church), we can make a powerful impact for the Kingdom of God,” said the founder.
Verse4ward partnerships
Verse4ward currently partners with a number of local and international charitable organisations. They found that many local people are in need of prayer, support and help. Likewise, they have also found that many churches and charitable organisations are in need of volunteers, prayer, support and provision. This is a great way for local communities to share their prayers and volunteer time and resources to their respective local churches or organisations and help grow the Bride.
Verse4ward have friends who they support in the USA, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Ukraine, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mozambique, Botswana, India and Pakistan.
Some of the partners’ projects they are supporting are the building of churches, giving of Bibles, provisions for missionaries, students, pastors as well as provision for charitable organisations.
