A call to build altars of life to stop the plague — Heart Sign Perpetua

Brief summary of prophetic word

East London pastor, missionary and prophetic teacher Heart Sign Perpetua says that during a time of prayer on June 5, God told her to tell intercessors and other believers to raise an “altar of life” in churches, schools and hospitals/clinics to stop the Covid-19 plague.

As a scriptural basis for His instruction to her, God gave her 2 Samuel 24:18-25, which deals with God’s command to David to raise an altar on the threshing floor of Arunah the Jebusite in order to stop a plague that claimed the lives of 70 000 Israelites in three days because of sin. says Heart Sign, who is senior pastor of Global Faith Ministries, founder of the Global Leadership training institute and chaplaincy and a coordinator of Kingdom discipleship in East London.

The Lord explained to her that today churches, schools and hospitals/clinics represent the threshing floor — a place where chaff is separated from grain. The Church is where sin is removed through God’s Word. School is where foolishness is removed and knowledge is imparted. And hospitals are where sickness is removed and health is restored.

But He said the three institutions have become perverted from His original purpose for them. In order to restore them to their original design it was necessary to build an altar of life through repentance, through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and through His blood.

On the 5th Day of June 2020 , while I was keeping the midday prayer watch with my team towards the end as we were interceding for the sick and the children, the Lord spoke clearly to me, asking me to tell His people, the intercessors, spiritual leaders and all His children with understanding on the mystery of altar, to go to churches even before they return to gather together physically, the schools before children go back to schools, to hospitals and clinics, to raise for Him an ALTAR OF LIFE to stop the plague and stop the death angel from claiming further lives. When we ended the prayer, I asked the Lord the scriptural basis for the instruction and he gave me 2 Samuel 24:18-25

“And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite. {Araunah: Heb. Araniah} 19  And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded. 20  And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground. 21  And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people. 22  And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. 23  All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee. 24  And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25  And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel — 2Sam 24:18-24

It was the account of the command God gave to David on what to do to stop the plague that claimed the lives of 70 000 Israelites in three days because of sin. As God opened the eyes of David and he saw the death angel behind the plague at the threshing floor of Arunah the Jebusite but Arunah saw nothing while busy with his threshing of grains.

When the death angel was ready to destroy Jerusalem  the Lord remembered His mercy and said to the angel it is ENOUGH. And for that plague to stop, God send a word to David through the prophet Gad, demanding David to go and build an altar at the threshing floor of Arunah the Jebusite.

When David arrived Arunah was surprised and afraid when he saw the king and enquired why he had come. David explained his mission to build God an altar on his threshing floor to stop the plague. He bought the threshing floor at the cost of 50 pieces of silver, refusing to take it for free as Arunah had suggested earlier, saying he could not offer God sacrifices that didn’t cost him anything.

When David built the altar and offered burnt and peace sacrifices the plague ceased.

When I meditated on these Scriptures I saw that the situation of Israel at that point was similar to the situation we found ourselves in our world today. In fact, it was even worse then, considering that just in that one nation, within three days, the plague had claimed 70 000 people. That is an enormous toll. No other nation has recorded so many deaths within such a short space of time. And the Lord said if He stopped the plague and delivered Israel when David obeyed Him and built an altar of life, then he is able to stop the current Covid-29 plague that has been devastating the world.

I asked the Lord why He was asking for altars to be built now in three institutions — namely the Church,  the school and the hospital. Why not in any other place and what is the connection between the event on the threshing floor and the three modern institutions, since He referred me to an Old Testament Scripture.

Here is the explanation God gave me. He said these three instruction represent the threshing floor today. Firstly, a threshing floor is where chaff is removed from grains. That means undesirable elements are removed from that which is desirable. He said that just as David paid for the threshing floor, He paid for these institutions with the life of the Son of Man who offered Himself as a sacrifice on the altar at Calvary

He went on further to prove that these institutions are the threshing floor which later became the temple site in Jerusalem and was also the place where He opened David’s eyes to see was also a site from which the death angel had been operating — as David looked the angel stretched his sword towards Jerusalem to bring total destruction before God told him to stop.

The Church as threshing floor

The Lord explained that the Church is a threshing floor where sin is separated from man using the living water of God’s Word that is supposed to flow from the altar according the picture He gave through His servant Ezekiel in Ezk 47: 1,5-9 —  Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar

  5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. {waters to…: Heb. waters of swimming} 6  And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river. 7  Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. {bank: Heb. lip} 8  Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. {desert: or, plain} 9  And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and everything shall live whither the river cometh. {rivers: Heb. two rivers}’’

The Lord said the water of His Word of life is supposed to flow from the altar in His house to purify, cleanse , bring healing, restoration and fruitfulness in the lives of men and society. But, unfortunately, His house has been perverted over centuries and instead it has become a source of death and barrenness to His people. Instead of bringing transformation to society it has been a major source of death to society — a ground where the ministry of the death angel flourishes.

Like Arunah, the Church seems not to know what is going on on His threshing floor, nor does it see, due to spiritual blindness. Hence, God says he wants us to build Him an altar of life in the churches that will not just stop the present plague but will restore His purpose for the Church as a living altar of flowing rivers of the living water of His word to bring life and health, and to purify and cause fruitfulness in life and the world.

“So when you gather to build this altar, follow the principle I gave to Jeremiah in Jer1:10,” says the Lord: ‘’ See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.’’

The Lord said we should use His Word in faith to bring the sacrifice of Jesus that is already offered on behalf of the Church and bring repentance for the perversion of His purpose for the Church and bring the blood of Jesus to atone for evil and faulty foundations of religion instead of the revelation of Christ.

He said the idolatrous and occultic foundation of many congregations, the witchcraft and greedy foundation of many congregations, the immorality in the Church and the turning of God house that is supposed to be a house of prayer for all nations into a den of robbers, fornicators swindlers, witches, liars, necessitated asking the Lord to have mercy on his Bride for the appointed time. “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come — Psalm 102:13, and restore Christ back as the foundation of the Church and the head of Church and rebuild God’s altar in the Church as an altar of life laid on the foundations of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ the Lord as the chief cornerstone

Then proclaim aloud “And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land” –-2Kings2:21

As Elisha threw the salt, which for us represents the New Covenant we have with God through the blood of  Jesus, so we should sprinkle the token of the blood of Christ, the communion element He has blessed, on the altar and on the doorposts of churches.proclaiming healing and restoration to that our assembly as the Church of Jesus Christ in this continent is healed, and so that the water of the Word proceeding from this pulpit will never cause death and barrenness to the people of God and the people of the cities and nations, but the water of the living Word of God will flow to bring life, healing, restoration and fruitfulness  into the lives, marriages, careers, businesses, of congregants and society at large in Jesus name

He said we should also anoint the altar and the door and proclaim aloud that this blood element of the communion and the oil become a token on this doorpost as the blood of the Lamb was a token for Israel in Egypt. Therefore, no death angel must enter into Church to kill people but that from outside, the blood will speak Passover to the Church and all its members, so that there will be no more death either through dead messages, sins, or the plague — in Jesus name, Amen.

The school as threshing floor

The Lord explained that the school is a threshing floor for the mind of man, where foolishness is extracted and separated from the mind of people and a place of impartation of wholesome knowledge to enhance the life and wellbeing of humanity. Unfortunately, this institution of learning was perverted and turned into a source of death to our children as the water of information issuing from our schools causes mental, moral and spiritual death. It was turned into a place where true wisdom is removed and replaced with false wisdom where the knowledge and fear of God is removed and replaced with the knowledge of Satan, where respect and recognition of authority are exchanged for disrespect and no value for authority, where true identity is removed and replaced with rejection of our sexuality, morality replaced with immorality,  responsibility replaced with irresponsibility and so on.

So God wants to restore the threshing floor of the educational institution to God’s original purpose to be a source of true knowledge that will help our children develop mentally, morally, responsibly, innovatively and so on.

When we get to our schools to build this altar of life, we must follow the same procedure of bringing the sacrifice of Jesus’s death over the school as a basis for demanding healing, restoration and stopping of the plague of death in our schools. Secondly, we must bring the atoning power of the blood of Jesus into the evil foundations on which our schools stand, where the sin of removing God and his Word from the education institution as the source of true knowledge. Wisdom and might belong to Him. He is the one who gives wisdom knowledge and understanding. “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding” –– Prov2:6

We need to bring repentance for the foolishness of thinking that we can gain knowledge by despising the wisdom and instruction of God. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. {the beginning: or, the principal part}” –– Prov1:7, “Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments” ––Psa 119:66

We must also bring repentance for the evil curriculum that is rooted in the humanistic philosophy and agenda of the New Age that is taught at our schools, the teaching of the theory of evolution and ask God for forgiveness and to bring the blood of Jesus to atone for this evil that opened the door wide for the angel of death to enter the institution of learning in our nation and plead for the cleansing of the institution and for a new foundation to be laid for our schools. We should proclaim: “And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land” — 2Kg2:21 over the school threshing floor, declaring it shall no longer be a source of death and unfruitfulness in the lives of our children, our character and economy. Then proclaim that we erect an altar of life in the institution of school that will stop death and the plague of death and anoint the school gate and declare Passover and demand for a guardian angel to guard the school that there will be no death in our school through the plague and all these other sources in Jesus’ name.

Demand that this altar of life will speak life continually and silence every other voice that speaks death, amen.

The threshing floor of hospital

The Lord explained that the hospital is a threshing floor for the body — the place where sicknesses are removed and health restored. Hence the symbol for the hospital is usually a snake on a pole, which is saying it is a place where the venom of the serpent that resulted in sickness is extracted to restore life and health to man. But unfortunately, again these purposes, said the Lord, were perverted and instead the hospital has become a major source of death to human life.

Satan and his agents have turned our hospitals and clinics into a place of massive death of innocent children through abortion and other destructive practices. This means many people have received death in our hospital as a result of the evil flowing from this threshing floor to the human body rather than health. And hence He is calling on His people to raise an altar of life that will stop death ravaging the world through hospitals and clinics.

So, we must raise this altar of life. We must begin by keying into the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, presenting it before God as our substitute whose body was broken for our healing, pleading with God to look upon His death and stop these waters of death from flowing from our hospitals.

‘’Surely, he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed’’. {wounded: or, tormented} {stripes: Heb. Bruise’’ — Isaiah 53:4-6

We must bring repentance for the evil foundation of hospitals — even covenants with Satan that claim thousands of lives through abortion, carelessness and wicked perversion of healthcare, and ask God to forgive and show mercy. We should request a new foundation for hospitals and clinics based on Christ and love and compassion for the sick and the helpless.

Then we must proclaim: “And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land” — 2 Kings 2:21  so that our hospitals and clinics will be a source of life healing and never again be a source of death and murder of innocent life in Jesus’ name.

Then we should sprinkle the blood of Jesus, the token of communion, on the gate of the hospital and wards if possible and declare that the blood is a token upon their doorpost, therefore no death angel is permitted to operate in this hospital to kill people before their time and demand that the plague of death ceases, in Jesus’ name, amen.
