Healing the Nation of Africa from Cape to Cairo prayer network has called for a time of prayer and fasting for “Azaniah” (South Africa) from June 15 to June 30 — a time in which the nation is facing potential unrest on several fronts.
The prayer points, which are listed below, include prayer for revival, for unity in the nation and the Church, for youth to prosper, and against racial and xenophobic tension, violence, division and a planned national shutdown on June 30.
PRAYER POINTS
a) Consecration and Spiritual Warfare
Praise and worship the Lord. Put on the full armour of God and raise prayers of repentance for personal, corporate and national sins. Scriptures: Psalm 100; Psalm 150; Ephesians 6:10–18; 2 Chronicles 7:14
1. Cancel every negative word spoken over South Africa by South Africans and by other nationals. Silence their voices and declare that they will not speak against the divine prophetic destiny of Azaniah in Jesus’ name. Scriptures: Ephesians 6:12; Numbers 23:8; Isaiah 54:17
2. Demolish and destroy every national altar that calls for division and blood sacrifice during Youth Month, the month that commemorates death in our nation. Cancel death and declare life, prosperity and progress over the youth. Scriptures: Exodus 23:24; Exodus 34:13; Deuteronomy 30:15,19; John 5:24
3. Bind and cast down every principality and power assigned to sow discord, racial, tribal and xenophobic tension, or to incite violence and economic destruction across the nation. Declare that no weapon formed against Azaniah’s destiny shall prosper. Scriptures: Isaiah 54:17; Daniel 10:13; Ephesians 6:10–12
4. Uproot every covenantal agreement made with darkness over this land by past and present leaders. Declare that the blood of Jesus annuls every ungodly covenant and legal claim the enemy holds over Azaniah. Scriptures: Colossians 2:14–15; Revelation 12:11
b) Blessing, Peace and Unity
5. Release blessings upon Azaniah and upon the rest of Africa. Declare that the continent from Cape to Cairo is blessed and not cursed. Scripture: Numbers 6:24–26
6. Pray for peace among the people of Africa and that they may dwell together in peace and unity. Scriptures: Psalm 133:1; Isaiah 32:18; Colossians 3:14,25
7. Pray for healing of historical wounds between communities, tribes, nationalities and racial groups. Declare that reconciliation and forgiveness will prevail over bitterness and unforgiveness. Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:18–19; Ephesians 4:31–32
8. Declare that the waters have been stirred and that signs, wonders and miracles will begin to flow in our land.
c) Safety, Justice and Governance
9. Declare that violence shall no longer be heard in our land, nor destruction within our borders. We shall call our walls Salvation and our gates Praise. Scriptures: Isaiah 60:18; Proverbs 10:11
10.Intercede for the police service, safety and security agencies, armed forces, border management authority and the justice system. Pray for protection and integrity in their duties. Scriptures: Amos 5:24; Romans 13:1–4
11. Reverse and cancel the national shutdown planned for 30 June 2026. Declare that the enemy’s plans shall not stand. Scriptures: Isaiah 7:7; Job 22:28
12. Pray that the Lord would summon the craftsmen of the Spirit to destroy the horns that scattered Azaniah so that no one could lift up his head. Pray that these horns opposing the destiny of Azaniah and the establishment of God’s government would be cast down. Scripture: Zechariah 1:18
13. Pray against the altar of necromancy and human sacrifice that seeks to hinder the overturning. Scripture: Ezekiel 21:27
14. Cry out to the Lord to deliver the nation from its present condition and from the chaos, confusion and divisions that are evident. Scriptures: Exodus 3:7–9; Psalm 107:6; Psalm 103:6
d) Revival and Prophetic Destiny
15. Pray for a Pentecostal outpouring and greater revival throughout the nation. Scriptures: Acts 2:1–4; John 14:13–14; Habakkuk 3:2
16. Pray for the Church in South Africa to arise in unity, power, glory and anointing. Declare that the body of Christ will be the light of the nation and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Scriptures: Matthew 16:18; Isaiah 60:1–3; Ephesians 4:11–13
17. Thank the Lord for bringing the nation into the season of the things He has spoken concerning change and fulfilment. Scriptures: Luke 1:45; Jeremiah 1:12; Psalm 4:3; 2 Samuel 5:1–3
