ACDP candidate for Nelson Mandela Bay by-election announced

Johanna Marianne Lötter is running for Ward 1 councilor in the upcoming by-election in Nelson Mandela Bay.

The ACDP in Nelson Mandela Bay has announced Johanna Marianne Lötter, a full-time pastor at Word of Faith Christian Centre, as their candidate for the by-election in Ward 1.

Johanna Marianne Lötter, better known as Marianne, was one of the ACDP candidates who contested in the 2016 Municipal elections. She is a business-owner, and radio host at Luister!FM, Lötter also hosts her own Leefstyl show on a national television station, Bay TV.

Having served the public through a number of community projects, Lötter was instrumental in assisting fire fighters with supplies when devastating fires ravaged Thornhill and its surrounding areas in 2017. A respected and well-known community leader, Lötter also regularly assists a farm school in her area, ensuring that the children have sufficient supplies to help them along in their schooling. When asked about her candidacy, Lötter said, “The improvement of the lives of people and our communities is my business.”

“The ACDP have a zero tolerance towards corruption and have leaders of integrity who ensure that residents are placed at the centre of service delivery. Since the ACDP became part of the Coalition Government in the Metro Current they have actively delivered what they promised in their manifesto.”

Election Day will be on Wednesday March 7, for which the ACDP encourages residents to vote for their values.
