Angus Buchan excited to speak at Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay after 2-year break from live events

Evangelist Angus Buchan, who will be a guest speaker this weekend at the 7th Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay gathering, has a special word of encouragement for Gateway News readers in the area.

In a message sent today, Buchan, who hosted SA’s first Mighty Men Conference in 2004, says: “I am so excited that on the 21st & 22nd March I will be speaking at the Mighty Men Conference in Jeffreys Bay, and I can’t wait to be with the men again. Last year was a year for me of solitude and silence. The Lord called me to draw apart and to continue, obviously, with my social media and television programmes, but not to speak live on a platform.

“This will be my first Mighty Men’s Conference that I will speak at in two years, and I am so very excited.  The Lord has really laid upon me about getting back to basics, about reminding us that we have a Father in Heaven who loves us so much that He even says that we should be called children of God 1 (John 3:1)

“Remember the whole ethos of Mighty Men’s is fathers and sons, is fatherhood and that is the thing which is lacking in the world, more now than ever before, we are faced with a fatherless generation and Mighty Men is addressing this tragic situation.  We are introducing men to a Father that maybe they never had themselves when they were children, and that is our Heavenly Father and making them better fathers for their children, and we are so excited about what is going to take place. I really want to encourage our readers to attend this meeting, as I believe it will have beneficial consequences for all, including myself, who go there because we are going to meet with our Heavenly Father in the person of the Holy Spirit. He will not disappoint us.

“I hope to see you there.

“Jesus bless you
Angus Buchan”

This year’s MMC theme is “Forgiven’ — inspired by Luke 7:48, reminding us that Jesus has the power to forgive sins and that His grace is available to all who seek Him with a repentant heart.
