ANGUS BUCHAN — STARTING THE JOURNEY

The Advent season is upon us, and maybe you are looking for a pertinent, personal gift for a friend who has recently decided to follow Jesus Christ as the Saviour and Lord of their lives.

Well, if that is the case, here is a simple, honest, presentation by one of South Africa’s best known evangelists, Angus Buchan.

He covers four subjects:

• Salvation
• Growing in God
• The Great Commission and
• The Holy Spirit

The restful scene is set outdoors, on his farm, and is delivered in his normal, personal, friendly and forthright manner

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand the teachings!

They are all basic and to the point

The subjects are peppered with Scripture quotes, that appear on the screen as he mentions them – very user friendly

Angus has an enthusiastic style about his presentations that do hold one’s attention. By his own admission, he does not try to push any major doctrinal analysis or theological persuasions

His personal anecdotes also illustrate the points being made. He also prays for his viewers after each lesson

I think that this DVD is a useful introduction to any new Christian, and will assist them in understanding what it means to becoming “followers of the Way”
