Book preview: ‘The Fallen Evangelist”

William Austen is someone who can truly say that better days are coming. His life was dramatically transformed in 2007 by the grace of God and he received a divine commission as an evangelist and set out to spread the Gospel across South Africa.

He is doing just that by sharing his testimony in his new book titled The Fallen Evangelist. This book tells the story of how God delivered him from the treacherous grip of drug addiction, alcoholism and gangsterism.

In 2013 William got into a great accident that left him hospitalised with five fractured ribs. His story thereafter continues to where Satan had a death warrant to kill him in 2018.

“Since 2020 after being attacked by a gang with pipes and bricks, which left me with brain damage, a broken jaw, a skull fractured in various places, God has restored me and I am in ministry full time preaching the Gospel.”

William wrote his book to glorify God and to bring hope to the Christian who is battling with sin. His hope is that every reader will deepen their walk with God after reading this book. Other topics he touches on include sin, repentance, and the crucified self life.

“I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to write this book,” he said.
