On August 20 Family Policy Institute took a giant step forward in fulfilling its objectives of informing, educating and equipping the Body of Christ to enable it to make a difference in society.
We taped the first “Watchmen on the Wall” television programme in our Cape Town studios. The first current affairs TV programme from a Christian perspective will air on TBN Africa on 4 Sept at 7pm.
The inaugural show will address the topic of human trafficking including the status of the Anti-trafficking Bill. Future programs will address the rapidly diminishing rights and freedoms of Christians in SA, the sexual rights agenda and the growing holocaust of abortion on demand.
The media reports there was a 31 percent increase in abortions in SA in 2011 compared to 2010. Government’s only concern is that citizens do not use condoms when they engage in promiscuous behaviour. Apparently, multiple sexual partners are OK – as long as you use a condom. This kind of faulty logic has made SA the world’s leader in HIV infection rates. The SA Government insists on dishing out tens of millions of tax-payer funded condoms to citizens in the hope of stemming the tide of unwanted pregnancies and the spiralling rates of HIV/AIDS infections. Mass condom distribution has been government policy for more than a decade with little results. The definition of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing, while expecting different outcomes.
Tax-payer funded abortion-on-demand has become so easily accessible that teens and women are using it as a form of contraception. Why use a condom when you can kill the unwanted baby?
Instead of educating young people about the real dangers of irresponsible and promiscuous sexual behaviour, government continues to perpetuate the bankrupt ideology of “safe-sex.” The failure of this policy becomes tragically apparent when one considers reports of 17,250 teen pregnancies in one year in KZN alone and an abortion performed every ten minutes in the E/Cape.
The murder of more than a million unborn citizens has perpetuated a culture of death in SA. Life has become cheap and has lost its dignity and sanctity in a culture that glorifies self-gratification. There has been much hand wringing and recrimination about the Marikana Massacre. But when human life is diminished in the womb, that callousness will find its way into the national psyche.
It is a tragedy that the Church of Christ has not developed a sustainable and coherent strategy to expose the grisly consequences of the culture of death – advanced by pro-death activists.
I have written a feature article about the Demographic Winter in the latest issue of Joy magazine. The culture of death is slowly killing off the human family in Western civilisation.
Abortion-on-demand – driven by radical feminist activists – and the homosexual agenda, lie at the heart of the culture of death. These anti-family groups are responsible for population decline.
Jesus promised mankind abundant life! The Christian worldview represents that culture of life. In Christ, life always overcomes death. Will the true Church arise & boldly proclaim the culture of life!
Ezekiel 7:23 make a chain. For the land is filled with crimes of blood and the city is full of violence
