Dr Daniel Shayesteh, a founder member of the Hezbollah in Iran will be sharing his faith in Christ and insights into the Middle East conflict at a seminar hosted by INcontext Ministries at 7pm on Thursday May 28 at the NG Kerk, Durbanville-Bergsig.
He will also address the men’s group at the church on Friday, May 29 at 5.45pm and will be sharing at the two morning services at 8.15am and 10am.
Shayesteh was born into a Muslim family in northern Iran. As a young boy he distinguished himself by learning the Quran off by heart. His commitment to his faith led to him becoming a radical Muslim leader in the militant Islamic Revolutionary Movement, closely supporting Ayatollah Khomeini and establishing himself as a leading teacher of Islam. He advanced in Iranian politics but, after falling out of favour with Khomeini’s political group, had to flee for his life, and after a series of events including kidnapping, death sentences and fleeing to Turkey, came to know Christ as his Saviour.
Shayesteh’s mission is to help others understand and lovingly respond to those who do not know Christ. He is also deeply concerned for the future of Western societies, their loss of confidence in Judeo-Christian values, and their persistent naivete about the implications of the worldwide Islamic revival.

Wow
I was fortunate and blessed enough, through the living God’s mysterious working, to see the DVD, Out of the darkness, by Dr Daniel Shayesteh and has been a great blessing to me. It shows the grace and deep love of our God, through His son Jesus Christ for all mankind. My heart burns to attend the session and I have no doubt that believers will be truly blessed by the powerful testimony of this brother. Those who can attend should and take saved or unsaved loved ones with the. It is highly recommended. Blessings by our Father to all the brethren scattered around the South Africa, and the rest of the world.
Is this man’s story recorded in Book or DVD?
In DVD format, because I saw the DVD in which he shares his testimony; it is called, Out of the darkness.
