A TV ministry has issued an official statement after its televangelist founders announced that they are divorcing after 34 years of marriage.
Two of South Africa’s best known televangelists, André and Jenny Roebert, are divorcing after 34 years of marriage.

The international boards overseeing Faith Broadcasting Network (FBN), also known as MyFaithTV, announced that the couple would temporarily step away from public ministry while addressing their marital separation.
“Over recent weeks, many of you may have become aware that our founders and their family are walking through a deeply challenging personal season. In the interest of transparency, the various International Boards wish to address our television partners and viewers around the world,” the ministry stated in its official announcement.
“After prayerful consultation with the founders, it was requested that they take a sabbatical from on air ministry responsibilities.

“They are currently facing significant marital challenges and are separated. We ask that you join us in praying for God’s grace in their lives while respecting the family’s privacy during this season.”
Jenny Roebert filed for divorce in Collier County, Florida, on June 30, according to court records. The filing states that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and notes the couple have been living separately since about May 20.
According to the Christian Post, Jenny Roebert, 54, who founded the television network with her 57-year-old husband in May 2002, filed for divorce on June 30, according to documents filed in Collier County, Florida, where they have a home and multiple businesses.
Court documents indicate the divorce proceedings involve a substantial marital estate, including businesses, ministry-related entities and real estate.
Among the assets is the couple’s waterfront home on Marco Island, Florida, which Jenny Roebert has asked the court to order sold as part of the property division.
Faith Broadcasting Network has grown into one of Africa’s largest Christian television ministries, broadcasting Christian programming throughout Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States and other parts of the world.
The ministry has become well known for its teaching programs, conferences and outreach initiatives, reaching millions of viewers through satellite television and digital platforms.
“The various boards remain committed to providing pastoral care, accountability, and wise oversight throughout this process,” the board continued.
“We also want to assure our partners that the ministry and television channels continue to operate under established governance structures, with the International Boards working together to ensure stability, faithful stewardship, and the continued fulfilment of the ministry’s mission.”
