Ten leading local Gospel music acts are performing in Port Elizabeth tonight to raise funds for PE teenager Ashleigh Botha to have life saving arterial bypass surgery in the USA.
Concert organiser and one of the performers, Ron Reynolds, appeals to PE people to come and enjoy a great evening of entertainment plus the satisfaction of contributing to a worthy cause.
Ashleigh suffers from a rare and dangerous disease, intimal fibromuscular dysplacia, which causes her blood vessels to grow close. All proceeds from the concert will go towards the surgery which costs hundreds of thousands of rands.
Tonight’s event is at the Otto Du Plessis High School hall, Rottingdean Road, Algoa Park, starting at 7pm. Tickets cost R50 and are available from Ron at 072 884 2667 or at the door.
