Men, women, children meet Jesus at Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay

Powerful moment at the recent MMC Jeffreys Bay

Wonderful things happen at Mighty Men Conferences and this year’s MMC in Jeffreys Bay which ended on Sunday March 24 was no exception, writes Piérre Maré , a volunteer organiser at the event and author of this report.

At last year’s conference, a standout sign was a ring around the sun as thousands prayed for rain. At this year’s conference, there were tales of a man who got up and walked out of a wheelchair, another’s sight starting to return and more.

Among the most profound outcomes of the event were the multitude of individuals—men, women, and children—who committed their lives to Jesus Christ. If you’re among those who’ve recently made this decision, you may be wondering what the next steps in your journey should be. I encourage you to consider joining a local church where you can experience the presence of the Holy spirit. Engage with a men’s group or initiate one yourself. Remember, as you’ve received freely, give freely!

The theme of the conference was “Fearless” –Tim 2 1:7, which states: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The success of the recent MMC Jeffreys Bay owes much to the dedicated volunteers who lent their hands to pre-arrangements and on-the-day logistics. Thousands gathered to listen to the guest speakers and and embrace the Word.

Feedback poured in, echoing praises for this year’s lineup of guest speakers — Ockie Fourie, Zane Meas, Martin Douglas, Morné Venter, and Eugene Genis — who ministered to the multitudes, leaving lasting impressions in their wake. “Mighty Men have outdone themselves this year with their guest speakers” – was just one of many comments left on their Facebook page
