He used to go to church just to “tick the box” and then get on with his life. But now his passion is to pursue God’s business. In a podcast interview with Ethan Black of Kingfisher FM, investment adviser and family man Ruan Jonck, 38, shares about how God touched his heart in January last year and began to use him to practically and spritually demonstrate the Father’s love to orphans. He shares how after he planned to do some floor repairs at a children’s home, God visited him while he was sleeping over several nights, telling him to “think much bigger” and to trust Him fully for the project. As he stepped out in faith God was faithful to add more people to the house makeover project they undertook. In his faith-inspiring testimony, Ruaan also talks about the NPO, the Heart of the Father Foundation that he launched for the purpose of “creating safe spaces for children and nurturing communities through compassion and shared purpose”.
