Mighty Men Western Cape holding reunion breakfast on Saturday

Mighty Men Western Cape at Sandringham Farm, Stellenbosch in September 2019

The Mighty Men Western Cape is holding an “old guard” reunion breakfast on Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm at GangStar Cafe Main Road, Mowbray, Cape Town.

It will be the first MMC WC get-together since 2019. While the movement has not met since Covid regulations stopped publiic gatherings, Ina Murison kept things going behind the scenes with dedicated support to the men and their families.

Piperjames McGowan, host of Saturday’s event says: “There is great expectation among the men and youth who will be attending. Although we haven’t gathered for a couple of years Mighty Men Western Cape is still alive and kicking and the ‘old guard’ is still strong and it strives onward, to the the values of when uncle Angus received his mandate from the Lord to help every man to spiritually become the prophet priest and king in his own home.

“GangStar Enterprises have supported Mighty Men Western Cape in the past and it is only fitting that our first breakfast will be held at the GangStar Cafe to help support their dedicated outreach as well. GangStar Enterprises help young men and women who have gone to prison and who have come out into civilian life and who are seeking a new start, especially in the Lord.”

The day will start with a meeting and greeting time over tea/coffee and a muffin. Then there will be a video and photographic presentation of past MMC WC gatherings, followed by breakfast and three men sharing 15 minute testimonies on how Mighty Men Western Cape has impacted their lives. There will aso be time for connecting and networking.
