The fourth annual Mighty Men Conference in the Bushveld on Snymansdrift farm outside Polokwane takes place next weekend (March 28 to 30) and farm owner Francois Brits says he and his committee are more excited and expectant than ever that God will reveal his love and mercy powerfully to each man who sets aside the time to focus on Him.
Explaining why entrance to the 3-day event is free for the first time this year, Brits says that during his quiet time God showed him that this was His will for 2014. Like Gideon, he twice asked God to confirm His will and God replied affirmatively with two scriptures — Isaiah 55:1-3 and Luke 9:3.
Brits encourages all men in Limpopo to come to the MMC Bushveld for a time of spiritual refuelling.
“Please bring along as many friends as you can so their lives can be touched in the same way as many thousands of men have experienced in the past,” he says. As this year’s event will be held during the Easter holidays, he urges all fathers to bring along their sons on the Friday and Saturday before the MMC is open to women and children on the last day of the event on Sunday, March 30.
The main speakers will be Riekert Botha and Piet Jacobs and praise and worship will be led by Franna Benade and Joe Niemand.
The organisers have promised that plenty of food stalls will be available, camping facilities will be free of charge and basic ablution facilities will be available to everybody attending the event. There will also be plenty of MMC memorabilia on sale and those not wanting to camp overnight will be granted free access for the day.
The organisers are hoping to better the turnout of 4 200 people who attended the MMC in the Bushveld last year. Further infromation can be obtained by calling Francois Brits on 082 460 2540 or Hercules Erasmus on 082 719 6953 or by visiting the Mighty Men Conference website at www.mmcbosveld.co.za.
