No condemnation — Angus Buchan

Hope

If we look at the Word of God in Romans 8:1 (NKJV) — There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

That great English preacher by the name of Charles Haddon Spurgeon said: “Glory be to the God of pardons.”

The devil is the accuser of the brethren, we must always remember that he’s the one who continually tells us that we’re no good, we’ll never make it, there’ll be nothing good ever come out of us and even when we make a commitment to Christ, he’s the first one who says, well let’s see how long it will last, he is the accuser.

However, Jesus is the one who has liberated us. He’s given us new life, He’s took away all our sin when He died on the cross of Calvary. By His blood that He shed on Calvary, our sins have been washed away.

I just have that picture of that little pond with a big sign up there “No fishing.” Once we have given our lives to the Lord, we need to press on and we need to trust Him to see us to the end.

Yes, many times we drop the ball and many times we do things we are not proud of. However, if we are quick to repent and to say sorry, the Lord is even quicker to forgive us.

So therefore, we rejoice that our redeemer lives. In Jeremiah Chapter 50:20 (NKJV) the Word of God says: “In those days and in that time,” says the Lord, “The iniquity of Israel (that is you and I) shall be sought, but there shall be none; And the sins of Judah, but they shall not be found; For I will pardon those whom I preserve.

The Lord has pardoned us from our sin, and He requires that we go and sin no more.

Jesus bless you
