The Western Cape Mighty Men Conference will not take place this year but there will be a conference next year, at a date to be announced later, says MMC Western Cape Chairman Andre Vercuiel.

He says the MMC WC that was planned for September 27 to 29 has been postponed due to the international travel commitments of Mighty Men founder Angus Buchan who will be in Israel in September.

About 15 000 men attended the inaugural Western Cape MMC  on Elohim farm near Paarl in March 2011. But it February 2012 the MMC WC organising committee announced a decision to suspend the conference. A new Executive Committee was elected in August 2012 and in the following month it was announced that a new MMC venue has been secured on Konstabel Farm, near to the N1 between Touws River and Matjiesfontein, on land donated by farm owner Eric Brown.

  1. That’s ok. Next year is perfect.

  2. What a pity, we had the date scheduled, planning to take a group of men! But, all in the Lord’s time, we eagerly wait until next year!
