Offer to show bestseller ‘Gosnell’ pro-life film at Cape churches

Africa Christian Action (ACA) is offering Cape Peninsula churches an opportunity (at no charge) to screen Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer,  a new pro-life, big screen drama, based on actual events.

The film which opens eyes to the horrific reality of abortion, was a box office success in the USA despite many cinemas refusing to screen it, and it is currently the top bestselling DVD on!

Cape Peninsula churches may contact Taryn Lourens of ACA at 021-6894480 or to arrange screenings. ACA  Christian Action will provide a pro-life speaker to introduce the film and answer questions afterwards. Free pro-life resources will also be made available for attendees.

“As 1 February 2019 was the 22nd anniversary of the legalisation of abortion-on-demand in South Africa, it is important that we expose the evil, callousness and cruelty of the abortion industry. Whilst not an explicitly pro-life, or Christian film, Gosnell depicts the cover-up and cowardice of police, prosecutors, government officials and the media in allowing abortionists to operate, for decades, with impunity, even when they have broken the law on numerous accounts,” says Lourens.

In its summary of the film, Movieguide says: “Gosnell – The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer is a shocking expose of the horrible activities and unclean practices of an inner city late-term abortionist in Philadelphia, USA who was found guilty of murdering babies in his clinic after they were born. Gosnell contains some foul language and disturbing content, but it’s a compelling, well-acted drama from a pro-life moral perspective that also exposes the lack of oversight by the Health Department in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania when it comes to abortion clinics.” To read Movieguide’s full review click here.
