Praise South Africa is the name of an event with a difference that is taking place on Friday April 11 at Moreleta Campus, Pretoria
On stage will be a line-up of prominent South African artists from diverse cultural backgrounds – among them Dr Tumi, Khaya Mthethwa, Retief Burger, Refentse, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Stella, Janine Price, and Julanie J.
But it is the Kingdom purpose behind the event that makes it unique
Praise South Africa visionary Julita Kok of Nuelight Events told Gateway News that the event is the first part of a bigger vision to hold Praise events in various African nations, culminating with a Praise Africa event which will bring all the sounds, genres, voices and cultures of Africa together to release the frequency of Africa to the world.
The Praise South Africa event in Pretoria on the April 11 is not just about the artists or the six-piece band, the five-piece string section, or the rest of the big cast on stage. Rather it’s about the sound of the artists’ and the sound of the people in the audience coming together, resonating with each other, and releasing a frequency that will be carried to the rest of the world, she said.
All of the songs will be well-known songs, sung in different languages. You can book tickets for Praise South Africa at Quicket and be part of this unique event.
Julita said the roots of the campaign go back to 2015 when God told her that the mandate in Heaven is Africa because Africa knows how to praise. When she did an Africa road trip in 2022 she discovered that the frequency of Africa is the fear of the Lord.
“So when God spoke to me about Praise South Africa, I knew that this was the mandate to release the frequency of the fear of the Lord from South Africa, which is the mouth of Africa, over to Jerusalem, to the rest of the world,” she said.
