At a time when the Church is under attack by ungodly forces and political, social and economic woes are mounting, South African Christians are responding to a call to stand together in united 24/7 prayer for the nation from February 1 to May 1.
“If every prayer slot is filled our nation will be covered – calling on God to intervene, heal and bring change, says campaign visionary and Bible teacher, Dr Arthur Frost.
“This is not a movement. This is a moment. Join us as the Church rises and takes its rightful place in prayer. Together, let’s see the tide turn,” he says.
Frost says that 164 cities and towns are already participating in the campaign, with major prayer networks, prayer groups and individuals responding to the call.
If you would like to join the “Tide is Turning” prayer campaign, you can register online at www.aprayingsa.co.za. Booking your slot – or slots – on the website is easy: just click on a day of your choice on the online calendar, click on your preferred time slot and click the “confirm” button to finalise your commitment. You are welcome to sign up individually or as a group. The calendar is live – so you can see how many people or prayer networks are already praying in any given slot. A live South Africa map on the site also gives an overview of where in the country groups or individual believers are praying.
Information to help you pray effectively is on the website, including key Scriptures for the campaign, personal prophetic declarations – and daily prayer points.
