‘The Spirit-led vote from the Church will cleanse the nation from bloodguilt’

Clementia Pae reports and comments on a prophetic word released by Vuyokazi Matu at the Marketplace Calling International Conference in Johannesburg on February 20
It was during the session, Technology, Digital Innovation and Media, when our moderator asked the first question; I couldn’t answer it, without releasing what the Lord heavily impressed in my spirit. I heard the Lord say: ‘My children, I have placed on your shoulders the keys to the House of David, What you open no one can shut, what you shut no one can open.(See Isaiah 22:22).
‘This is the time to take position. Step in like an elephant. This is the time to wake up, step up and step in. Move up and move in. Occupy, reign and influence. This is the time to unapologetically grab hold of the dominion mandate I have placed upon you.
‘I have given you the authority, power and might to shape the future. I have already given you favour and governmental authority to usher

in the shift in your nation. I have already given you the power to establish a new order! I have stretched out my sceptre of authority to define a new era.’  — Vuyokazi Matu, TV and radio producer/presenter and founder and president of Voice of Africa Global Media — CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE FULL PROPHETIC WORD

This word has come at a very critical moment, when a cry for divine change is visible in the faces of many who live in this beloved nation, South Africa.

It is by grace that the Lord has decided to awaken us, His Church in this hour, to speak again on His behalf, through the action of voting in the government elections.

There is a saying that “actions speak louder than words”. Another one says: “Practice what you preach.” As a Church, we have somehow been silent for a long time, either voluntarily or unknowingly.

We kept on deciding to disengage from the affairs of our nation, and we have let those that are against the Lord make decisions on our behalf, and yet we are the ones who carry the divine governmental authority.

When things went wrong, because of our disengagement, we reacted by complaining. The Lord has given us a clear choice to make, when He said: “Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. 16 for I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.17 “But if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, 18 then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live a long, good life in the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy.
19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This[a] is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the LORD, you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” — Deuteronomy 30:15-20

When we became silent previously, and we did not speak through our vote, we automatically chose death. When we voted for those who do not stand for the Lord or His Word, we automatically chose death. How could we have missed this?

The voice of a nation that is 80% Christian
As indicated in this prophetic word from Vuyokazi Matu, the abortion laws in our nation have proven that we have indeed chosen death. We have indeed profaned / brought shame to the name of the Lord by condoning the sacrifice of our children to Molech. (Leviticus 18:21)

Our hands are covered with blood, and only the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ can understand this language. We are guilty of shedding innocent blood, and the Lord hates that. (Proverbs 6:17)

As a result of our blood guilt, many curses have come upon our nation, and we witness many calamities on a daily basis. Only the Church can turn things around, if we choose to hearken to the voice of the Lord, to arise, unite, repent and thunder with His voice. (Psalm 29)

Only the Church can carry out the duty of washing our stained hands and removing the curse from our land, through the blood of Jesus Christ and the finished work of the cross.

If we are indeed 80% Christian in our nation, as the statistics have shown, and if we claim to love the Lord our God, with all our hearts, mind, soul and strength, surely the voice of the Lord should be louder than any other voice, through what we say, as well as what we do.

The Bible says: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” — Proverbs 29:2

Today we are mourning because we have not been faithful with our vote. We did not do what we see the Father do. But we did what we saw others do. We have been led by fear and not faith. However, our God is very gracious and loving. He has heard the prayers of the remnant. He is reminding us that our vote, led by His Spirit, is what matters in this hour.

Identifying and exercising governmental authority
We are being called to come up higher, so that the Lord may show us what must take place after this. (Revelation 4:1)

And since this is the work of the Lord, His Spirit is the one that will lead the process; all we need to do is obey, every step of the way.

“Coming up higher” indeed begins with deep repentance, which is highlighted in this prophetic word.

As the Lord pours out His Spirit upon us, we need to fully yield to Him, and not question, nor resist His will. For the Bible says: All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. — Romans 3:23

The Bible also says: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. — 1 John 1:8, and If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Prayer, repentance, totally turning away from wrong, and choosing to follow and obey God fully, are key to obtaining governmental authority. Not only do we receive forgiveness for our sins, but we get divine revelation, wisdom, knowledge and favour from the Lord. We are able to see what the Lord sees, and to do what He does. The chains get broken, curses removed and divine order is established.

When we please the Lord, He is able to entrust us with much, including His governmental authority, dominion and fruitfulness over our nations.

There is a remnant that has been obedient and faithful to the Lord, who have walked through the narrow path, which many have avoided. These ones are the ones that the Lord has raised up for such a time as this. They know God’s heartbeat. They have kept His word, and have not denied His name. They echo God’s voice and they are entrusted to release decrees on behalf of the King of kings. Decrees that can never be revoked.

They are breathing the life of Jesus Christ over the people and nation. Many more are still coming after them, still being raised by the Lord, through this same narrow path.

Now as we prepare to cast our votes that will change the course of history of our nation and continent, we need to allow the Spirit of the Lord to reveal these ones to us. After the Lord has revealed them to us, we need to be obedient with our vote. This will unlock the blessing, the healing, the restoration, and the prosperity of our nation.

All of us, who are called by the name of the Lord, are being held accountable in this. We can no longer be indecisive or lukewarm about this. The vote that is secret to my neighbour is visible to God. He is the one who will know if I stood for Him or not — if I chose life or death.

We bless the Lord for the opportunity to exercise our governmental authority, through our faith and our vote. Let the Church arise!!!

The church is filled with fear and their vote is therefore not a Christian informed vote. Pastors are to blame for not encouraging their flock to vote according to the Bible.

  2. Hein van Vledder

I agree entirely with Marianne Lötter. Pastors can and should, nationally encourage their congregations to vote for Godly government. Think about it… What is more politically correct than to do the right thing politically?

  3. Rona van Niekerk

In this very issue of Gateway News, we have a good example of how a God-fearing political party, with only 3 representatives in Parliament, has been able to ensure freedom of our Christian religion for us. Surely thery’re the obvious party to vote for, however fearful you may be?

  4. Imagine if the ACDP were to win as many seats, or more, than the EFF, what a positive impact that would have on the government of our beloved South Africa. Promoting teamwork and ‘love your neighbor’, instead of stoking racial conflict…
    Come Lord Jesus, come…!

  5. How can a Biblical christian vote for any one who does not oppose abortion.
