Turn on the switch! — Angus Buchan

John 12:46 (NKJV) I have come as a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Early this morning as I was rising, we had another power cut, so I made my dear wife, Jill, a cup of tea with the torch on the gas stove and then proceeded to come into my quiet time room and pray and seek the Lord and spend time in His presence. I was also busy preparing the Thought for the Day, very difficult working with a torch and after I had been working for some time, I had nearly completed the message, when I looked around the corner and the light was on. Yes, indeed Eskom had come to the party, but I had been working in the dark for a few hours before that.

I want to say to you that we have just got to turn on the light switch. Don’t sit in the dark with a candle. Remember Jesus Christ is the Light of the World.
