WATCH: ANC, EFF love Israel-haters more than they care for SA people, says Meshoe in Israeli embassy debate

ACDP leader Rev Kenneth Meshoe said today that the EFF and ANC’s love for the haters of Israel is much greater than their care for the people of South Africa. [Watch his message in the above video]

He was speaking in a virtual plenary sitting of Parliament during debate on a motion proposed by EFF leader Julius Malema calling for the Israeli embassy in SA to be closed and diplomatic relations to be suspended.

The Deputy Minister of International Relations Mashego-Dlamini, on behalf of the ruling ANC, supported the EFF motion. Parliament will vote on the motion on Tuesday, however it is the executive and not Parliament that must ultimately decide on the matter.

Rejecting the motion, Meshoe said “it is full of lies, inaccuracies and deceptions” including labeling Israel as an “apartheid state”.

Concluding his remarks, he quoted Messianic rabbi Jonathan Cahn noting that “in the book of Jeremiah God said: ‘As long as the sun and stars of heaven remain in the sky, so long as the order of the cosmos is in place, the Jewish people will remain a nation before Him”.

He said that Cahn went on to state that despite repeated attempts over thousands of years to wipe out the children of Israel, “the nation of Israel still lives because because the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is still alive”.
