Doctors at two Western Cape hospitals were among those who sent videos to Worship South Africa this week. This was in response to the worship movement’s call for SA believers to join their “Feet on the Street” campaign to bring hope and healing through worship and acts of kindness.
An ICU doctor at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town said dancing to the SA global hit song, Jerusalema helped to replace the atmosphere of death with garments of praise.
And in Paarl, a doctor, Elze, decided to take the bold step of asking if she could worship in the hospital where she works. “Let this be an encouragement to all of us to make a difference where we are and where we have access! Elze also shared on how patients are reacting positively to the music, finding comfort and peace in our Saviour!” said Worship SA.
