Reinhard Bonnke’s Farewell Crusade in Lagos, Nigeria started last night — celebrating the evangelist’s 50 years of ministry in Africa with millions of salvations, and the handing over of the torch to Daniel Kolenda, the new lead evangelist for CfaN (Christ For All Nations). Lindy-Ann Hopley of Beautiful Witness Ministries, who writes a monthly column for Gateway News, is in Lagos with CfaN South Africa, and below is her first video update for Gateway News readers. Reporting on the first night, Daniel Kolenda said: “Tonight, Evangelist Bonnke preached a powerful and clear evangelistic message. It was such a joy to hear him preach the Gospel on African soil again. Many thousands responded to the invitation and many were healed. Services were broadcast across the nation and around the world on social media as well as many Christian Television outlets.”
Kolenda requested prayer for no more rain to fall on the crusade groundthis week, for protection for the large group, and an outpouring of notable miracles, and a massive harvest of souls.
