Parenting fearlessly in these tough times is focus of Gqeberha event

Kingfisher FM and Focus on the Family are hosting “Parenting World Changers” events in Gqeberha (PE) on Tuesday October 11 and Wednesday October 12.

Topics that will be addressed at these events by Stellenbosch author and speaker Mandi Hart include childhood and teen anxiety, depression, gender confusion, technology, healthy vs unhealthy communication and fear-based parenting.

The event on Tuesday evening is from 7 to 9.30pm at Harvest Christian Church in Albert Road, Walmer. Children can come for free and child care is available. You may arrive at 5.30 to enjoy live music, get a bite to eat from available food trucks and kids entertainment.

The Wednesday morning event is a breakfast at Oxygen Life Church in 2nd Avenue Walmer from 8.30 to 11am. The theme is “building resilience in your kids”. Tickets cost R50 and you can book at https://www.safamily.co.za/store/tickets/building-resilience-with-kids-2022/
