It is time for Christians in South Africa to rise, say the organisers of an ambitious mass outdoor gathering which will take place at Wilde Als farm outside Bloemfontein from 4pm on Friday October 6 to 12pm on Sunday October 8.

“It is about uniting the body of Christ in South Africa across age, racial and denominational lines. It is about humbling ourselves before the Lord in prayer and worship. It is about getting organised to guide the nation on the right path. We will strategise and share blueprints for rebuilding the walls,” says Time2RiseSA who are hosting the event.

“ Time2RiseSA is a Christ-centred, Holy Spirit-led initiative that inspires unity, purpose and collective action in the body of Christ. At the event, dynamic Christian leaders will share short messages as we come together to find new solutions to a nation in desperate need of divine intervention. The time has come!” they say in an email message outlining “all you need to know” about the event.

Weekend highlights include dedicating South Africa to the Lord on the Saturday morning, a keynote speech by former chief justice Mogoeng Mogoeng on the Saturday evening, strategy sessions to come up with nation-building blueprints for key sectors and identifying men and women who can lead the nation.

  1. How absolutely amazing and wonderful. May this bless the Fathers heart as He sees His children coming together. I shall never forget the meeting when Angus Buchan called us to prayer in Bloemfontein some years back. What a blessing and may the vision of unity amongst the brothers and sisters in Christ become more and more of a reality. PRAYING !
