Back after 2 years! Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay confirmed for March 18 to 20

Evening session at previous MMC Jeffreys Bay

It is with much excitement that Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay’s organising committee are finalising arrangements to host the next Mighty Men Conference in the Eastern Cape.

Since receiving the official go-ahead from Kouga Municipality, the conference has been “all systems go”.  It is scheduled to take place from March 18 to 20.

The last conference took place just before the start of the pandemic in 2020, which meant that the conference which was originally scheduled for 2021 could not take place and was postponed for a year. This year’s conference will change the lives of many men and boys, despite the current limit on the number of people allowed to gather outdoors.

“It’s never been about numbers for us. “ states Piérre Maré, one of the organising members. “Even if only a handful of guys opened their hearts and accepted Jesus into their lives, that would be enough. We are full of hope that the current limits on numbers will be relaxed even further when the President addresses the nation next week. There is just something mind-blowing about experiencing thousands of men pulling together to praise the Lord and shouting AMEN! in unison.”

Men are changed by Jesus

The number of tickets available for the conference is limited and approximately two thirds of the public allocation have been sold already. If you are planning on attending, get your ticket ASAP at www.mightymeneasterncape.co.za. Only tickets that have been purchased through the official website will be valid and access will only be granted to male ticket holders.

Strict health protocols will be followed. Traditionally, the Sunday service was a family day where women and the rest of the family could join the men, however due to the restrictions, all three days of the conference, including Sunday, is unfortunately limited to male ticketholders. Camping is allowed as usual.

Glorious memories

For those new to the concept, the Mighty Men Conference is an annual conference for men and boys that takes the format of a weekend of fellowship. The venue is the farm Mooi Uitsig, Jeffreys Bay. Four guest speakers have been invited to address the crowd and deliver amazing testimonies of redemption. Full details of the speaker lineup will be revealed closer to the time.

A praise and worship band precedes each day’s speaker’s sessions. Food vendors will be available, however attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drink. Campers have a designated braai area. The conference is guaranteed to provide deliverance and conversion to follow Christ for many men and boys. This change leads to men who return to being the priest, profit and king of their households. In turn the men influence their wives, followed by kids being influenced by their parents. This entire cycle leads to Godly generations that return to faith in Almighty God, and this can have a massively positive impact on the entire country.
