Scripture:
Jeremiah 29:7 — “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused You to be carried away captives… for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.”
Prayer:
Lord, bless our municipalities with safer streets, clean water, honest service, working infrastructure, and neighbourly cooperation. May we be transformed by the renewing of our minds to good governance, sound leadership, accountable practices and righting historic wrongs. May our ways reflect our love for Christ and the transforming presence of His Kingdom Purpose.
Proclamation:
Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in all our communities, metros and municipalities. I declare that the Lord is watching over the affairs of our city and our communities. Peace, Righteousness, and Justice shall prevail, and our cities and towns shall be places of safety, hope, and the presence of the Lord.
