How do you see? — Marian Fitz-Gibbon

Prophets are given the wonderful gift of “seeing” into the spirit realm and translating what they see to the Body of Christ.

Covid-19 is the perfect time for much translation as to what’s going on in the Church, the economy, political arena, education the social environment and most importantly, the medical arena, right now.

One just needs to jump onto a platform and type in Covid-19 and you can get any theory you like as to where, why and how it started and where we may possibly end up. It’s the time for conspiracy theories the likes of which we have never seen. Popping up preachers onto platforms makes Sundays an all-day church opportunity.

Vision
As we moved into the new year, 2020 to be precise, there were great promises of greater clearer vision. Many of us zoomed in on the 20/20 vision and we were full of faith that many souls would be coming into the Kingdom.

Forgive me if I state the obvious but who would have thought that we would have faced such an obstacle like Covid-19, yet on the other hand who could have thought we could have faced such an open door.

I recall the day we were preparing to leave for a recent trip to the USA. I sat praying, hearing of this virus that had invaded China.
As I looked up into the heavens, the clouds were bulging fat in form. I continued in intercession and there was a lightning strike none like I had ever heard.

The heavens opened and the rain fell till there was a notice of roads closing in our area. I knew that the Lord was speaking. I needed the interpretation of that which I saw.

I was sitting in front of an open door praying. Could this be the open door spoken of in Revelation 3.8? — I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. … You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.

What then of the bulging clouds? Would this be the protection and presence of the Lord spoken of in Psalm 104:3? — He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind,

What then of the lightning strike? The powerful intervention of the Lord on your behalf against the enemy? Psalm 144:6 — Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy; shoot your arrows and rout them.

Rain is so often referred to as the Holy Spirit and oh, desperate the world is in need of an outpouring and a revival. But when one looks further as to the possible meaning of rain, it can refer to The Song of Moses. — Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, My speech shall distil as the dew, As the small rain upon the tender herb, And as the showers upon the grass: Because I will publish the name of the LORD: Ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: For all his ways are judgment: A God of truth and without iniquity, Just and right is he.

  6. Thank you Marian for this insightful word. How soon we forget the promises of God when disaster strikes, but He honors His word above His name and every word of God is true.

Dear Ronalda, Thank you for your response to this article. Indeed God’s word is rock steady and its only when we hit these global crisis that we really come to grasp how steady and faithful He is. When I looked back at some of my photo’s taken in USA He was talking just this – Im steady as as a rock, Im the rock of ages! What a faithful God we have. Be strong, healthy and full of hope. Blessings, Marian
