A mighty light set to ignite

Afrikaans

Johnny Louw’s desire is to inspire people to be the light of God in their everyday lives, whether it be in their families, among friends, fellow employees or to a stranger in the street.

Louw has a rare ability to motivate people to speak life, blessings and love; to be the solution, the remedy, and the strength through Christ to every situation that presents itself.

“I love the Karoo, I am born of the Karoo and I am coming to KMMC 2014 to join with my brothers.

“I have attended all the Karoo Mighty Men Conferences. This will be the third conference that I speak at, and if I am not a speaker next year, I will be there as a brother in Christ.”

Louw, who addresses church congregations, children’s events, and men’s interdenominational groups all around the country, says the KMMC has a very special anointing for empowering men to face the world as sons of God.

“The voice that comes out of the KMMC is the voice of faith, hope and love. The KMMC is a place for me to revitalise myself, serve my brothers, and enjoy the fellowship of men that have driven from as far afield as Namibia, Namaqualand, Limpopo, Gauteng and the Cape to worship God and fellowship together.

”It is an event that happens once a year during which guys get together and forget about everything else except worshipping the Lord with all of their hearts.”

Louw says he was called by God as a motivator and to spread the message of hope and power.

“My message is that God is reconciling men with Him through Jesus Christ so that they can rise renewed in their relationships with Him and spread the good message of repentance, the remission of sins and salvation in Christ to the lost, the weary, and to those who are without hope.

“God’s business is winning the lost, bringing them into His kingdom, and establishing the mind of Christ in His sons so that they will be meek, but bold to go into the world and extend the gospel to all people.”

Louw say his purpose is to speak in the spirit to the spirits of the men at KMMC to activate their love for the Lord.

“I want to motivate the men not to let their love for Christ go cold and fall into a religious rut.

“If people new how much God loves them it would empower them to be able to do anything on earth, ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life’ (John 3:16).

“With this love, we don’t need alcohol, drugs or money. It is this love, which changes a man, a normal person, and elevates him into a son of God and allows him to accomplish anything in the world for his Holy Father’s kingdom.

“That is my heart for the men at KMMC 2014; to be carriers of the profound love of God,” says Louw.
