Mogoeng in Israel for Feast of Tabernacles celebrations

Healing the Nation leader and former Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng and his wife Mmaphefo arrived in Israel today on a spiritual journey to the land of the Bible, to be part of Feast of Tabernacles celebrations organised by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).

The couple, who are visiting Israel for the first time, will join thousands of Christians from over 70 nations who are travelling to the annual biblical pilgrimage Feast of Tabernacles, which the ICEJ has been hosting for the past 42 years according to Zechariah 14: 16-19 — “And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”

The Mogoengs are part of the first group of pilgrims to travel to Israel for the ICEJ event following two years of virtual celebrations due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

“We pray and trust that the South African pilgrim group’s visit to Israel will result in the Lord releasing a blessing for our nation according to Genesis 12:3, as our country is desperately in need of divine intervention,” said Tshego Motaung of Healing the Nation.

  1. I have a good friend from England, going to the same event!

Thank you to the Mogoeng’s for representing SA at The Feast of Tabernacles. We were there in 1995 and what a blessing it was. Experienced many miracles in Israel following the loss of our beloved daughter at the age of 19 in a motor accident. It was an event that has remained with us ever since, and helped to miraculously heal our terrible grief of losing a beautiful joyous daughter, after GOD gave us this instruction to make the pilgrimage. Israel and the Jewish people are the apple of GOD’s Eye, and will remain a spiritual catalyst forever.

  3. God bless Israel. God bless all who gathered for the Feast of Tabernacles. God bless the Mogoengs. God bless Africa.
