The ‘Courageous’ soundtrack features some of the leading bands in Christian music today, with groups such as ‘Casting Crowns’ who sing the title soundtrack ‘Courageous’, ‘10th Avenue North’, ‘Sanctus Real’ and ‘Third Day’ to name a few.  These bands genre’s all have a rock/worship sound and so with this compilation we have the same feel.  With the movie being so incredibly powerful and full of emotion, it goes without saying these songs will strongly aid the movies message and inspire you to live your life courageously. The movies main theme is a call to men that will inspire one to say I’m willing to take on the challenge of living beyond the norm and the soundtrack definitely brings that call and challenge across to the listener.  The songs ‘Courageous’ (Casting Crowns) and ‘Lead Me’ (Sanctus Real) are based on the daily struggles men face and the CD as a whole cries out and challenges men: Will you be that man – the father, husband, and lover of God the world craves for and your family so desperately needs you to walk in?
