Pro-life events in Durban, Cape Town on Sunday October 2

Pro-lifers are invited to join a March For Life event in Umhlanga Durban and a life chain protest in downtown Cape Town on Sunday October 2, which is International Life Chain Sunday, a day on which Christians around the world stand up for the right to life of pre-born babies.

The March For Life hosted by the National Alliance For Life (NAL) will be from 2pm to 4.30pm, starting at Satellite Police Station in Autumn Road, Prestondale, then turning into Herwood and lining up along Umhlanga Rocks Drive. The theme is “celebrating life” and participants are urged to bring placards and banners identifying their church or organisations. There will be placards at the event for those who don’t have their own.

  1. May God use this Pro-Life Day to stem the toxic mudslide of popular, selfish abortions. The myth that the foetus is part of the mother’s body over which she has a constitutional right must be demolished. The unborn baby has a different DNA to the mother, and so is a person in her/his own right – and entitled to PROTECTION from the Constitutional “Right to Life”.
