Christian rock band Skillet has achieved a major milestone as its hit song ‘Monster’ surpassed 4 billion global streams, becoming the most-streamed Christian song in history.
The band announced the achievement as ‘Monster’ also became the first song by a Christian artist to exceed 1 billion streams on Spotify, earning a place in the platform’s Billions Club. The song, released in 2009 on Skillet’s album ‘Awake,’ has remained one of the group’s most popular tracks for more than 15 years.

‘Monster’ has been widely used across radio, television, sports broadcasts, films and video games, helping introduce the band to audiences beyond the Christian music market.
The song has also received multiple platinum certifications in the United States and remains one of the most successful rock singles of its era.
