Rachel Kalidass visionary of the Awakening South Africa prayer movement extends an invitation to you to join (via livestream) a national prayer and repentance event on Table Mountain which follows a campaign of 10 days of Prayer and Repentance from September 22 to October 2. The livestream links are published below.
This Friday, communities across South Africa and beyond will come together for a sacred moment of prayer, repentance, and renewal as we mark Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement.
Yom Kippur is one of the most significant and holy days on the spiritual calendar, a time set apart for reflection, humility, and breakthrough. It is a moment to pause, to repent, and to seek peace not only for ourselves, but for our families, our communities, and our nation.
In this season, we are called to turn away from pride, division, and falsehood, and instead draw near to God with contrite hearts. The promise is clear: when we return, He restores. This is not only personal, but collective — repentance and renewal have the power to break cycles and bring healing across generations.
The Prayer & Repentance Event will create space for deep worship, intercession, and reflection, guiding attendees through themes of reconciliation, forgiveness, and revival. Together, we will stand before God, asking for peace in our hearts, clarity in our lives, and restoration in our land.
Whether you are seeking personal renewal, praying for your family, or standing in faith for our nation’s future, this event is for you.
Join the event live online this Friday.
