The Christian Youth Crusaders (CYC) of the Apostolic Faith Mission of Africa (AFMA) are carrying out weekend outreach campaigns in far-northern KwaZulu Natal ahead of the Mhlabuyalingana Great Revival — a Gospel campaign to be hosted in the Manguzi Multipurpose Hall from August 7 to 10.
During the outreaches AFMA preachers and CYC teams, inspired by the Great Commission (Mark 16:15), distribute Gospel pamphlets at taxi ranks, markets and shopping malls, do open-air preaching, pray for the sick, engage in one-on-on conversations and conduct door-to-door canvassing visits. The CYC also run digital outreach campaigns on social media platforms like Facebook to reach demographics across borders.

The Great Revival revival in Manguzi will be hosted by the AFMA overseer and president, Reverend Rosewell Zulu. Manguzi (often spelled Manguza or KwaNgwanase) is a vibrant, rural town in the Umhlabuyalingana Local Municipality in far-northern KwaZulu-Natal, roughly 15km from the Mozambican border. The local population shares deep cultural and historical ties across the South Africa-Mozambique border, heavily valuing tradition and showing a great respect for nature.
Manguza is home to a diverse population, with a strong blend of Zulu and Tsonga (aMashangaan) heritage, reflecting the historical cross-border family ties of the Maputaland region.
For more information about the upcoming Mhlabuyalingana Great Revival contact Reverend Mahlangu on 071 927 4976 or CYC 067 248 3998.
