God is interested in cities!

Dear Friends

These are exciting times to be a Christian in South Africa. Where else in the world will you find the police calling on the church to join them at a mass prayer day for their city at a major sports venue? The police have faith to fill PE’s magnificent Nelson Mandela Bay stadium with 48 000 prayers on October 22. If you live in the Nelson Mandela Bay metro please make it a priority to be part of this historic event through which God wants to bless and revive a city! Share the story with others.

The headline of this newsletter, was inspired by a report entitled “God of the nations“, filed from Estonia by Port Elizabeth pastor Afrika Mhlophe.

Earlier this week we published a report about criticism, questioning and mockery directed at Justice Mogoeng by the media, politicians and gender groups as a result of his Christian views. He took a lot of flak especially when he said, under questioning, that he believed God wanted him to become Chief Justice of South Africa. In breaking news today, it was learnt that he has indeed been appointed Chief Justice.

Some of our other stories this week include, the Northern Arts Festival, an upcoming Deep healing and deliverance seminar and a Rugby World Cup-related story about Welsh rugby veterans who have been transformed by Jesus.
