MMC WC leaders awarded their colours

MMC WC Chairman, Piperjames McGowan, presents official blue jackets to Dr Gerhard Kotze, Dr Hennie Lubbe and Pastor George Lehman who will all be ministering from the podium at the MMC from September 25 to 27 in Malmesbury.

Leaders who will minister from the podium at the Mighty Men Conference Western Cape have been awarded their colours — official MMC WC blue jackets — ahead of the men’s gathering at Moreson Farm, Malmesbury from September 25 to 27, 2015.

Dr Gerhard Kotze, Leader of Amazing Grace Ministries; George Lehman, Bikers Church Senior Pastor and Regional President of the Christian Motorcycle Association; and Dr Hennie Lubbe, Senior Pastor of Fresh Wind Ministries, have all received their jackets whose vibrant blue colour represents the Law of God and also is a direct connection with the beautiful West Coast of South Africa, says Ina Murison-McGowan, Head of MMC WC Marketing.

Zane Meas, Founder of the ‘Fatherhood Foundation’ and well-known actor on 7de Laan on SABC2 (Neville Meintjies), who is also one of the main speakers at MMC WC, will receive his jacket later — he is currently busy with TV work commitments. Pastor André Venter, Senior Pastor of City of Hope Church, Kimberley, who planted a Mighty Men Tartan on Mount Everest after the Nepal earthquake in April will also be presented with a blue jacket as he will host the Testimonies Afternoon at the MMC WC on the afternoon of Saturday, September 26.

Kotze will be the opening speaker at the event on Friday, September 25 and he will also be the closing speaker on Sunday, September 27 when wives and daughters will be invited to join the men at a morning service. “He will bring a unique flair to the gathering as he has an amazing rapport with the people of the Kaap. He has walked an amazing path himself and he is well known and well respected.” says Murison-McGowan.

Lehman will speak on the morning of Saturday, September 26. The Bikers Church are great MMC supporters and many of its members ae expected to participate in a ‘Spiritual Bike Run’ on the Saturday afternoon.

Lubbe will be Master of Ceremonies throughout the MMC event and is also hosting a full day of rehearsals at his church on Saturday,September 5, from 10am until 4pm.
