Welcome to Team Talk.
This month I have an encouraging word and also a call to prayer, fasting and seeking God’s face for our beautiful country. It is so needed. Lets unite as believers in SA as the ministry of reconciliation has been given to us. In Christ we have the power to rebuild ruins, restore buildings and streets with joyous dwellings. Lets not get caught up in speaking death over our land but rather life. I shall be back next month with inspiring testimonies from those doing amazing work for Jesus in the sporting world around SA and Africa. Lets spend this month praying in faith that God is willing and more than able to heal our land. He seeks a people that will humble themselves and pray and turn from there wicked ways. He seeks those that will, worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
God is moving in SA. His love for SA shall never cease. Don’t be side-tracked by media. Pray, worship, fast, do the work of an evangelist and remind yourself and others of all the times God has been good to you. Many miracles happen in the midst of chaos. So do not fear. As Christians, we have chosen life, life in Christ, abundant life. So lets not speak death. Let us as Christians choose to answer hatred with love. Lets choose to pray for those who persecute us, lets choose to pray for those who are corrupt and those who do evil things. This is no easy thing. But with God all things are possible. Lord, send revival, start in me. Teach me to deny myself, to pick up my cross and follow you. Help me to speak life and not death especially when I am angry or feeling despondent. As Your grace is sufficient for me may I treat others the same way. As You Lord, are slow to anger and abounding in love, grant me the ability to imitate you. In Jesus name I pray.
Remember God has faithful servants in every sphere. From business to sport to politics. Yes, every political party has faithful, God fearing servants doing His work. Pray for those that are in His service, for it is not easy to carry out His will.
Stay safe and God bless friends.
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16
